My Favorite Plushie was my first officially published comic on Line Webtoon. It began as a project for a contest and evolved from my love of classic Japanese cartoon romances with comedic effects and fantasy elements. It explores themes of love, mental health and social normative behavior and relationship roles.

I have been rewriting the script, redesigning the layouts and adding details to a major Sketchup model I made of the city and other places you’ll see in the comic (below sketches).

The worldbuilding and time and effort I put into this while learning a 3D software, designing brands in addition to writing and illustrating the webtoon with no assistance eventually took a huge toll on my mental health.

The project went on an unexpected long hiatus. I have every intention of going back to this webtoon. It’s still being worked on.
